What is cold or hot process soap?:
Cold or hot process soap is a traditional method of soap making that involves using fats and lye. When mixed together the Lye starts a process called saponification which converts all of the lye to soap. We allow an extra 6-10% of oils into our soap which is a process called super-fatting which means that there is oil left over in the soap, this is the part that makes your skin feel hydrated, soft and clean!!
All of our oils are Vegan friendly and we never use palm oil, SLS and Paraben free!!!!!
Soap weight is approximately 80g per item - as these are hand cut please allow +/-5% variation in weight.
Soaps are sent in a cotton or paper bag which makes them a perfect gift and easy to store.

High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins make shea butter an ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening skin. Shea butter also has anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your body can condition, tone, and soothe your skin.
Coconut oil is the most abundant source of lauric acid, a fatty acid known for its antimicrobial, moisturizing, and hormone-balancing properties. Aside from its anti-aging and skin-healing abilities, it also stimulates the production of collagen, and its vitamin E content protects the skin from sun damage.
For centuries, extra virgin olive oil has been used topically to relieve every day skin ailments. It has anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-aging properties because it is packed with antioxidants and vitamins. It hydrates the skin by building the skin's moisture barrier to prevent loss of moisture.
Ylang-Ylang helps to maintain moisture, and helps balance and regulate oil production to prevent excessive dryness or oiliness. It is good for dry, normal, oily, sensitive, and combination skin types. Its antiseptic and antimicrobial properties make it a good product for acne-prone skin.
Activated charcoal can help to absorb excess oil from oily skin, to reduce redness and inflammation, to prevent moisture loss and keep dry skin hydrated. One of the main benefits of charcoal is its ability to detoxify the skin. When used in soap, activated carbon can help remove impurities and toxins from the skin's surface.
